Ozark Four

Ozark Four was a folk group from Berlin/Germany and was together 1972-1979. Its principal members were

Helge Brink: Helge was a teacher in Berlin and is still going strong playing bluegrass with the band Bluegrass Breakdown. He died 2023.
Ivo Düntsch: Ivo has studied Mathematics and works in the Computer Science Department of Brock University, St Catharines, ON, near Niagara Falls.
Peter Lentz: Peter was an independent producer. He died 1999.
Thomas Schwartz: Thomas was studying law at the time, but we have lost track of him.

Supporting musicians were

Bernd Machus, bandoneon, a professional studio musician and bandoneon teacher.
Ulrich Roski, keyboard, who died 2003.
Christian Timmermann, old time banjo, was a recognized authority on Indian motorbikes. He died 2016.
Diemar Weigel, square dance calls. He died 1986.

Ozark Four recorded two LPs with Telefunken/Decca in 1975/76. Sometimes you can still hear our music played on German language radio stations.
