A Tour of GROBIAN

These pages are part of the developer's pages of GROBIAN, and thus they are liable to change frequently, and not all links are present yet. Eventually, they will grow into a Help System for the GROBIAN engine and an introduction to Rough Set Data Analysis (at least, we hope so).

Welcome to the rough set engine GROBIAN . The most common procedures of RSDA are incorporated into GROBIAN, such as

• Finding a core,
• Finding reducts,
• Generating rules.

• A randomization test for rule significance ,
• A simple method of data filtering which may increase the significance of rules,
• A method of information analysis based on entropy functions .
