User Manual
Installation:
- Download a plugin from the downloads page. (this is a dll file)
- Shut down host application.
- Place the dll in the host application plugin directory. (please consult your programs manual to find out where this is located)
- Start the host application.
- Look under VST Effects in the application and the plugin should be listed as "VSTProjectEcho".
- Finished.
Usage:
- In the host application select the area of the audio file you wish to apply the echo.
- Go to the vst effects tab (please see your program manual to locate this function) and select "VSTProjectEcho".
- Adjust all the sliders and priview the effect, if it is not what you intended then readjust the parameters till you achieve the desired effect.
GUI:
Note: see the downloads page to see the 2 types of GUIs available.
There are 4 sliders to achieve your desired effect, adjust each one and preview to test if it is the desired effect. The GUI consists of:
- Delay: the number of samples to delay.
- FeedB: the percent of feedback to process back into the primary audio.
- Echo: the level of echo percentage to use.
- Vol: decibel gain of the overall audio output.
Troubleshooting:
Unable to see plugin:
If you are unable to see the plugin in your list of effects look for a plugin refresh option if available for your application.
Double check that you have copied the plugin to the correct directory for the application.
VSTGUI Will Not Load:
Remove the dll and download the default_GUI plugin, this may fix your problem.
