Narkotik RingMod

Ring Modulation takes an original sample, or carrier, and combines it with another signal, or modulator, which usually consists of some sort of signal oscillator. Many different modulators can be used such as square waves, saw tooth waves and triangle waves. With Narkotik RingMod, I've used a customizable Sine wave to modulate the carrier which is the original sample thats put through the plug-in. This tends to create metallic sounds that are more pronounced with lower frequencies such as low frequency basslines and the beats in a track. The plug-in has 4 parameters. Output Gain, Phase, Dry/Wet and Wave Amplitude.

Output Gain - Controls the output volume.

Phase - Changes the phase of the sine wave creating the actual change in modulation

Wet/Dry - Determines how much of the effect is mixed with the original signal.

Wave Amplitude - Determines how loud the actual modulator wave is. Similar effect to Wet/Dry when moved all the way down to zero.
